This is a fully-fledged novel at the N3 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test about Mike Miller, the main character in the Minna no Nihongo textbooks.
This is the second novel in the series featuring Mike Miller, and as happens in volume II of the Main Text, the story surrounds Mike Miller’s move to and new life in Tokyo.
The book is written using vocabulary and grammar extending from the beginner level to the first half of the intermediate level, and the reader can gain a sense of accomplishment in having read a full novel in Japanese. In addition, it comprises 12 short stories, and if the teacher creates questions, it can easily be used as a reading comprehension material in class.
